Non-woven Fabrics
Featured by moisture protection, ventilation, flexibility, light weight, no combustion support, easy decomposition, no toxicity and stimulation, non-woven fabrics are made of polyester, and produced through continuous one-step method of high-temperature melting, silk spraying, net laying, hot pressing and coiling. It undergoes the production process of high-temperature melting, and micropores are generated through spunlace, as shown in Fig. 1.
Woven Fabric
Aperture problems may occur to woven fabric, which is prepared through intertwining of warp and weft. The resistance may increase along with the intertwining density and affect battery discharging; powder penetration, leakage and loss of active substance may occur when intertwining density is small and aperture is large. The density of woven fabric is in proportional relation with the resistance, as shown in Fig. 2.
Advantages of Non-woven Fabrics Multitubes
1.Higher porosity, smaller aperture (micropores are formed and can be ignored); the problems such as powder penetration, leakage and loss of active substance are solved in the process of production and use, as shown in Fig. 1.
2.As non-woven fabrics multitubes are produced through special processing, it has lower resistance than polyester multitubes, free diffusion of electrolyte and better ionic migration, contributing to higher discharge capability, as shown in Fig. 2.
3.It is superior in mechanical performance due to high stress deformation load. While battery is working, the non-woven fabric multitubes can well undertake low pressure (0-4bar) that is generated during charging/discharging circulation of active substances of positive active materials, and hold the active substances firmly, as shown in Fig. 3.
4. Larger battery capacity and longer life. According to the 60%DOD circulation test data of 500 batteries, the non-woven fabric multitubes have higher discharge capacity than polyester multitubes. Based on the experiment of domestic battery manufacturers, the discharge of non-woven fabric multitubes is 8-10min longer than that of polyester multitubes according to the national 5h discharge rate, as shown in Table 4.
According to the feedback of users at home and abroad in recent years, the performance of non-woven fabric multitubes is higher than that of polyester multitube.
The domestic battery manufacturer has conducted a performance contract test between our products and imported non-woven fabric multitubes
Test purpose: Compare the physical & chemical property and use performance between our products and rivals'.
Product under test: Our non-woven fabric multitubes and imported non-woven fabric multitubes.

II. Production Test of Ciclopirox Olamine Cream Line
By using 500pcs Type PZS115 multitubes respectively in ciclopirox olamine cream squeezing line for production test, the test processes and parameters are consistent, as shown in Table 2.

III. Performance Comparison of Assembled Batteries
Type 5PZS575 batteries are assembled through our and imported multitubes and three batteries are selected respectively for performance test. See Table 3 for the data.

Summary: 1. The physical & chemical indexes and manufacturability of our non-woven fabric multitubes are basically consistent with that of imported ones and there's no obvious difference.
2.No obvious difference is found between our non-woven fabric multitubes and imported ones after batteries assembled with them undergo cycle test for 400 times under the same conditions.
